Inaugural Football Champion's League Season reaches half-way

At the half way point of the inaugural Football Champion's League season we take a look a the what's been going down in the bigs.  As you'll likely recall, there were two gamedayritual Football Champion's Leagues founded this season: The Unitas Conference and The Deacon Jones Conference.

Unitas Conference Update

Through week 8, the divisional standings in the Unitas Conference break down like this.

The leaders of the North, South and East divisions have had strong first halves, and hold 2, 3 and 2 game leads respectively.  The real fight - and the class of the league - is the West division where the ATLANTA COLTS and Banshee Mules are fighting it out for top spot in the division and a trip to the playoffs.

Deacon Jones Conference Update

Over in the Deacon Jones Conference the race for inaugural season dominance features a tight North division and an undefeated team, with the standings through week 8 breaking down like this.

The WarHounds have been burning up the East division, while the fight for the North division is tight between three teams; Menjai, Chicago Blitz and Hoopty.
